Andy and Mycah come to visit

The second weekend in May we had more company. Andy, Mycah and Will came to visit us before they move to Arizona next month :( Saturday morning Andy, Mycah, Ches and I went to the Bodies exhibit at the Museum of Idaho. I thought it was really cool to see all the different parts of the body. Andy really loved it too, which is a good things since he is going to medical school. As we looked at the different bodies Andy would tell me more cool facts about what we were looking at. It was like having a personal guide through the exhibit. Afterwards we went over to Hot Diggity Dog and had the best hot dogs ever! Ches loved their homemade french fries. It was so much fun hanging out with them. Afterwards we took the kids over to Tautphaus Park to play. We didn't stay long because it got stormy soon after we got there.

Kimmie had fun playing with Will

Later that day the kids had a blast playing with Will. They had him laughing real hard.

Kimmie got in the action by attacking Andy.
We loved having them for the weekend.

University of Idaho Graduation
May 3rd 2011

Today's the Day....Graduation!
We are anxiously waiting for the ceremony to begin at the Colonial Theater.

Guest Speaker Sam Shakir

Ches receiving his degree from President Nellis.

At the end of the ceremony a ton of balloons were released,
so of course the kids snatched a bunch up. Made it a fun picture.

Our Master of Adult and Organizational Learning and Leadership

So proud of him!

Ches and Troy Lassle.
Troy is our good friend and neighbor across the street.
It was really neat that they graduated together. Troy got his masters of engineering.

Ches and Roger Scott. Roger is a U of I professor and Ches took a few classes from him.

Ches and Vivek Utgikav. A friend and professor in Idaho Falls.

Ches with Alice Allen. Alice is a great friend and was Ches' academic adviser. She was such a great help and support to Ches throughout his degree.

It has been a long road with lots and lots of study hours and stress over assignments and test. But all of his hard work paid off. Ches graduated with a 4.0! He is such a smart guy. I am so proud of him and all that he accomplished.

I forgot to add this picture to my Easter post. When we went outside for the egg hunt we discovered that the squirrels wanted some candy too. They completely chewed through two eggs and ate a bunch of candy. Haha..gotta love living with so close to nature.
Easter 2011

We were really lucky to have my sister Becky and her girls visiting Easter weekend. They came on Thursday the 21st. We had dinner with them and tried to get everyone settled down for bed. Our kids still had to go to school so it was tough to get them to bed.

After school the kids had a chance to color Easter eggs.
The older 5 went first. They were so creative and had a lot of fun.

While the older ones were doing their eggs, Kimmie wanted to do spa stuff with her cousins.
She has a Fancy Nancy book all about the Oh La La Spa that she wanted to copy.
So they painted each others finger nails, fixed hair and put on make-up all by themselves.

Then it was time to take the Fashion Pics

Pretty little Amy

Sweetie Melanie

Adorable Emma

Cutie Kimmie

Lovely Livvie

Lee always makes a Star Wars egg.

The Easter Bunny always comes on Saturday morning, everyone was glad that the Easter Bunny remembered that the Watkins were at our house this year.
Rickie got a game in his basket and he played it with Erica.

Here are the "girls" getting ready to eat their Easter eggs for breakfast. I forgot to get a picture of them coloring the eggs, but they had fun doing that as well.

Hanging out after breakfast and waiting for the egg hunt to begin.

We finally got everyone fed and ready to go find some candy!

There were two separate egg hunts this year. Rickie, Erica, Robbie and Ali were sent on an egg hunt thru the neighborhood. (Lee was gone to a scout training meeting)

The other girls were in our front yard.
Kimmie found one!

Kimmie and Amy

Kimmie with all her eggs.

Sitting on the porch enjoying the sun and eating candy.

We spotted the older kids coming around the corner. They are so close.

The last clue took them to the Dokus' yard. Where is that Candy?!

Woohoo, they found it! I love the look of triumph on Rickie's face.

After the egg hunt at home, Ches called and told us to come over to the Bennion and participate in the ASISU IF egg hunt.

They had the kids separated into age groups. Melanie had her's inside but I didn't get a picture, there were a lot of crazy parents crowding to get pictures so I stepped back. This is Kimmie, Olivia & Emma's group.

Olivia won the grand prize of that age group.
Such a cool car!

Robbie, Erica and Rickie went next.

Searching their eggs for a golden ticket to claim a prize.
Ali was over 13 so she had to run with the adults, which was crazy. I swear the adults are worse than the kids, especially when a blue-ray player is the grand prize.
We didn't win but we had fun and the kids got more candy.

Later that afternoon, Becky and I went shopping and this is what we came home too.
The kids watching Tangled with Ches crashed out on the chair. heehee

The Watkins had to leave after dinner so they could be home to spend Easter Sunday with Weston. I wanted to have a fun meal with them so we did LowBoil. It was so fun to see the kids face as Ches dumped the food on the table and we told them to eat with their hands and squirt ketchup and butter on the table.

It was so much fun having them here. I love it when family visits.

Here are my good looking kids on Easter Sunday.
The boys got new ties and Kimmie a new dress.

Kimmie of course wanted multiple pictures in her new dress.
Here is her silly pose.

Pretty as a Princess

She convince Rickie to take one more with her.
They can be good friends sometimes.

Then a solo one of this handsome dude.
